When the air compressor is in a dangerous state, or sudden failure occurs in the production process, in order to avoid greater damage, it must be stopped timely to check, we can cut off the power supply by pressing the emergency stop switch, stop the operation of the equipment, in order to protect the safety of the human body and equipment.

Under what circumstances can emergency stop?

If the following circumstances occur, the air compressor should press the emergency shutdown button for emergency shutdown, find out the reason, and remove the fault before starting.

1. The power supply and exhaust pressure gauge suddenly exceed the specified value;

2. The cooling water of the water-cooled air compressor is suddenly cut off, and the cooling supply is interrupted;

3. The water temperature and oil temperature of a part of the air compressor exceed the allowable value. When the automatic control system fails, it should be stopped in an emergency;

4. Abnormal sound occurs in the air compressor, such as metal collision sound, loose joints, cylinder, cylinder head, screw and other parts damage;

5. Lubricating oil pressure drop, or suddenly stop supply;

6. There are serious leaks and leaks in the process of air compressor gas delivery;

7. When the motor has strong vibration or burning odor;

8. When the weather is suddenly abnormal, the air compressor station is flooded, or there is an emergency around it.

How to Stop an emergency

In case of emergency shutdown, press the emergency stop button directly without first unloading.

After the shutdown, the air compressor should exhaust the remaining air in the system after the end of work, and the pressure should be zero; After a period of shutdown, the condensate water in the oil and gas barrel, oil cooler and after-cooler should be discharged. In cold winter, freezing crack damage and rust should be avoided in the low-temperature environment.

After emergency shutdown, it is recommended that you make a written record of the reason for shutdown for maintenance and inspection, including:

1. Shutdown time and shutdown type;

2. Initial assessment of emergency shutdown loss;

3. Preliminary cause determination of emergency shutdown accidents;

4. Matters requiring assistance from relevant departments in rescue and rescue

5. Recovery or emergency repair time;

How to reset after shutdown

1. Press the emergency stop switch. Turn the emergency stop switch clockwise to check whether it ejects. If not, replace the emergency stop switch.

2. After the air compressor is idle for a long time, please reset when starting the machine, but the reset does not work. In this case, it can be preliminarily judged that the emergency stop switch is disconnected or the emergency stop control circuit is not in good contact, and the emergency switch can be replaced or repaired.
